Translation

O Supreme Soul! How can one not bow before You as You are the
most supreme being who created even four faced Brahma? You are the One
without end, Lord of all Lords, supporter of the Universe, and You are
imperishable. You are superior to every entity, manifest and unmanifest, in
the universe.

You are the primordial Lord. You are the One described in the
scriptures. You are the shelter for the entire Universe. You know
everything. You teach everything. You are the one to be known. You are
full of infinite lustre. O One with Infinite Forms! The Universe is filled by
You.

You are - Vayu, Yama, Agni, Varuna, Chandra, Prajapati, and
grandfather to all. I offer my obeisance to You thousands of times, again
and again.

I bow in front of You, from behind You and from all directions. You
are complete in all respects, with infinite strength. There is no end to Your
bravery. You pervade everywhere. Hence You are known as sarva
(everything).

Unfiltered First Take

Having a surrendered mindset during scaling can be a crucial step. Do not burn out, do not lose hope, do not give up. Keep reminding yourself about the impact of you becoming successful. Remind yourself of the difference you can bring to other lives, the impact you can create in their world, directly or indirectly. Remind yourself about every aspect of your life getting uplifted, the knowledge you gain, the power you earn, the provider you become, the opportunities you create, the peace and growth you bring to others lives. Make a note of every positive thing and keep revising it every day, and that will give you the power and grit needed to get grinded during the scale phase.

UdyamGita Interpretation

Arjuna’s fear has now transformed into deep reverence. He recognizes Krishna as the supreme reality—beyond creation and destruction, beyond the manifest and unmanifest. Overwhelmed by this realization, Arjuna offers salutations from every direction, repeatedly and without reservation. This is not desperation; it is total surrender born from understanding.

These verses mark the culmination of Arjuna’s inner journey—from doubt, to awe, to fear, and finally to grounded acceptance.

Business Insight

During the grinding phase of scale, mindset becomes the true differentiator.

When pressure is relentless and uncertainty constant, only those who adopt a surrendered mindset endure. Surrender here does not mean passivity; it means:

  • Accepting the grind without resentment
  • Trusting the process without constant self-doubt
  • Continuing effort without burning out

Founders who resist reality exhaust themselves faster. Those who accept it conserve energy and clarity.

Leadership Lesson

Great leaders fuel themselves with meaning.

At this stage, the entrepreneur must consciously remind himself—again and again—why this journey matters:

  • The impact success can create in others’ lives
  • The opportunities generated for employees and partners
  • The knowledge, wisdom, and maturity being gained
  • The power to become a provider, enabler, and builder of ecosystems
  • The peace and growth the venture can bring to many

This daily reflection is not indulgence; it is emotional hygiene. It replenishes grit, restores hope, and prevents burnout during prolonged adversity.

Key Takeaways

  • Surrendered mindset is essential for surviving the scale grind.
  • Burnout often comes from resistance, not effort alone.
  • Purpose sustains energy when motivation fades.
  • Daily reflection reinforces resilience and clarity.
  • Impact-focused thinking fuels long-term perseverance.
